LED Sports Lighting for Tennis Courts: LANZINI Upgrades the Tennis Club Allmend in Lucerne.

Tennis Club Allmend in Lucerne selected LANZINI to carry out the LED retrofit of six tennis courts, replacing the existing conventional lighting system with a high-efficiency photometric solution.
The project involved the installation of 24 EVO 2L 600W LED floodlights, engineered to provide an average illuminance of 300 lux on the playing surface, ensuring high uniformity and low glare in compliance with EN 12193 – Sports Lighting.
The integration of a DALI lighting control system enables flexible lighting management, allowing illuminance levels to be adjusted according to court occupancy while optimizing energy consumption and operational efficiency.
The new installation has significantly improved photometric performance, lighting uniformity, and glare control, providing more comfortable playing conditions and consistent lighting quality.
The LED retrofit has also reduced energy consumption, increasing the overall efficiency of the lighting installation while ensuring long-term reliability.
