LED Sports Lighting for Swimming Pools: LANZINI lights the Batumi Olympic Pool in Georgia

LANZINI has completed the LED sports lighting system for the Batumi Olympic Pool, the new aquatic centre in Batumi, Georgia, designed in accordance with World Aquatics (formerly FINA) international standards.
The facility features a 50 × 25‑metre indoor Olympic pool with 10 lanes and grandstands for approximately 800 spectators, intended for international‑level competitions.
To meet the stringent lighting requirements for events and HD/4K broadcast coverage, LANZINI installed 125 EVO 2XL Series LED floodlights with 5000 K colour temperature, CRI >80 and ON/OFF control system.
The installation achieves an average illuminance of 3892 lux at one metre above the water surface, ensuring high uniformity, visual comfort and maximum reliability during training sessions, competitions and events.
