Floodlight for the lighting of huge sports facilities. Replacement of the lamp through the rear cover. Standard disconnecting switch to ensure electrical insulation whenever the cover is open. Opening through 3 pressure clips. Cover equipped with anti-loss hinges. Fixed glass with frame closed by screws. Body, glass frame, rear cover and connection box made of die-cust aluminium with UNI 5076 alloy. Orange-peel metallized grey painting made by means of polyester powders. Connection box installed on the bracket where terminal board and (upon request) ignitor are placed. This allows to install ballast and capacitor faraway from the fitting. Inox steel outside bolts and screws. Sodic-calcic transparent tempered glass with 5 mm thickness. Narrow beam reflector (frustum of cone) in turned extra-pure aluminium with 1,2 mm thickness. Specular surface for 3°x2 version. Hammered surface for 9°x2 version. Refractor for luminous beam. Control gear boxes (max weight 19 kg) with IP65 protection, and insulation class I. Feeding plate with IP20 protection, and insulation class I (suitable for application in cutout boxes). Tinned copper cables with Teflon sheathing, ceramic double-ended lampholder K12,5x7s. Exhaust valve to stabilize the inner pressure according to the thermical variations and therefore reduce as much as possible the stressing on glass and gaskets. PG16 nickeled cable gland. Zinc-plated steel bracket with rack fixing device equipped with 2 goniometers made of die-cast aluminium. Silicone gaskets. Floodlight available in insulation class I. Hot restrike systems for metal halide lamps K12,5X7s available upon request. The system is characterized by a special ignitor which emits high-tension pulses to restrike the lamp immediately after the switching-off.
